Answer
As the Renaissance started people around the world were being released to a new era of ideas. What the Renaissance brought to the world is beyond words but there were some key ideas that did influence it. The ideas of Humanism and Individualism both sparked great fear into the religious groups and churches but also led people to change their ways of thinking and their values. As an individual we are the dominant species on the planet, however in the Renaissance our skills as an individual weren’t brought out until artists and several people such as Da Vinci. These people inspired others to bring out their creativeness in their daily lives and for others maybe painting self-portraits or learning more about the individual itself. An individual could influence groups of people as in Florence there were people of the Medici family that manipulated the political system and ended up being the so-called dictators of Florence. Humanism was also doing its part as it challenged the church to stop making things up and actually have real solid facts behind what they were saying. Taking stuff right out of the bible to fool people were not accepted the humanists and the people that followed them. These ideas eventually let us be more creative and believe in science as in the modern we are dependent on these ideas. If they had not come around in the Renaissance then our world may be different then how we know it today. Without individualism we would not have invented many such as the airplane and the car and there would not be action movies that everybody lines up for. Without humanism the church may still be the leading power in the world and everybody still believes what he or she says. People may still believe that the earth is the center of everything and that science is fraud. Our lives would be more exposed to threats such as diseases as we do not believe in science. These ideas in my opinion are the ones that have led us to were we are today and will continue to help us move forward as a race and as a species.
